A Day In My Life

This time of year when we should be rejoicing because the birth of Christ will soon be upon us.

Some people are not in a celebratory spirit for one reason or another.

Most of them have financial woes because they do not have the means for this or that.

That is understandable, but we need to be grateful for what we have.

This makes me think of many years ago, when I was on a Greyhound bus looking through the window, and seeing so many people living on the street.

That was the first time I had ever seen anything like that.

It was mind-blowing.

I never want to experience it again.

From that point on, I realized how blessed I truly am.

Sometimes, we have the gall to think only about our own situations, but there are people that are suffering: hungry and homeless.

So, before the festivities for us begin, let us do something, if we can, for those whose spirits have been dashed, and are less fortunate than we are.

And remember:

Jesus is the Reason for the Season!

God bless y’all!
